Hi,

I am looking to buy this:

I would like to use VB to communicate with it. Can I do this (i.e. send data to the screen and five events when a button is pressed etc.)?

Yes. Itll be a bit of work, but very doable.

its fairly easy with win32 api calls ( assuming the device connects through a serial port). i connedt to an infrared reciever through my serial port this way. look up serial communications, and rs232 programming on www.gotdotnet.com.

Thanks, but I think it may be USB - there may be one identical which can be connected through a serial port.

There lots of plugins, etc available for it here. They even have sample Delphi code that you might be able to decypher and convert to VB.
