FTP Program

I want to develop a program. This program will transfer a huge file from client machine to Web Server, and it should include the connection resume function like "GetRight". But I have no idea about it...

Anyone help? As I know, FTP should be common and can download from Internet, but what about the connection resume feature? I really do not have any ideas about it.

connection resuming for ftp uploading can be done by using the append keyword. for resuming downloads, the server needs to support the restart keyword.
