Hi,

I just upgraded my Windows 2000 Server to Windows Server 2003 (Standard,
32-bit), and I think that it's mostly working, but at boot, I am seeing
a popup saying that a driver did not start.

When I look in Event Viewer, I see the following event:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7026
Date: 9/22/2007
Time: 9:57:12 PM
User: N/A
Computer: TESTWIN2K
Description:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
viaagp1

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

The system seems to be working, so I'm guessing that "viaagp1" isn't
needed, but I'd like to try to get eliminate the error.

Can anyone tell me how I can do that?

Thanks,
Jim

You may need updated chipset and or graphics adapter drivers for your mobo.
Check the pc or mobo manufacturer's web site.

Hi,

I was able to eliminate this problem using info at:

http://www.morinfamily.com:8888/blog/2005/03/02/1109823223000.html

I downloaded the VIA 4-in-1 driver zip, unzipped it, then copied the
viaagp1.sys to the drivers dir...
