.net framework problem

hello, a problem with the .net framework,
if somebody manually edited the registry and the .net framewok became corrupted, what is the way to fix it. trying to uninstall it generates an error, reinstalling displays a message that .net framework is already installed.
so any help on this issue

Well are you able to set the properties back like they were before editing the registry values ? Hmm... lol or install OS again
