Free SMTP component

i have developed an application which sends out some emails. now i am using a component called aemail or something like that. it worked great till yesterday when i get an error "trial expired"

So my question is: is there a free component for my applications to send out emails or should i hack one myself?

Have you looked into system.web.mail ??

I havent used it myself but from what Ive read you can use the different items in that namespace to send e-mail

yeah but therefore you need an smtp server running ... and i dont have one nor i am not expecting one form the persons who will use this tool
