The News Informer is a small application that sits on your system tray and checks for updates on the web. It does this through the use plug-ins, named Informers, each doing their own thing. One may check an RSS feed for the latest news update, display it to you, and provide a link to the updated news. Another may simply scan forums to see if theyve been updated, and provide a link. The possibilities are endless. Whats even better, is that these Informers are easily installed and uninstalled at the users discretion, that way you never have to use anything you dont like.
