I am having chronic problems with my OS. Here is my configuration:

90% free resources
2 memory slots, 0 free (1024+1024)

Graphics Adapter: ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)
Screen Area/Colors: 1360x1024 pixels, 16 million colors
Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor
Operating System
Upgrade
Windows 6.0.6000 6.0.6000 (Windows 6.0.6000 6.0.6000 )
Original setup date: 9/17/2007
DirectX Version: 6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101-2205)
SWAP FILE DISABLED
File cache managed by Windows
I keep having tiny multicolored lines appear across my screen while in
Windows. It is not the screen, because they move when I scroll down a page.
Any game I run (Oblivion(I can load the game, but after a minute of playing,
small objects, and large lines randomly start appearing) Supreme
Commander(starts, but crashes)) does not work. I have run Futuremark, but it
crashes before the first test. I've updated my drivers, and played around
wiht them for hours with no luck. I know these things should work, because
they worked fine back in March when I last tried them.
I think it is a conflict between my drivers and Directx, but I am not sure.
Any ideas?
