Fading Text

Hi,

I have a label that currently swaps the content of its text property when a timer fires. But it looks very jerky just swapping the text. Does anyone know of an easy way to make the text fade out so I can change it and then fade back again? Or am I barking up the wrong tree trying to use a label??

is there an Alpha (Or "opaque") property for the label? that might help
or maybe ytou could accomplish this with GDI+ and play around with transparency

Thanks. I hadnt understood what that alpha value was all about! I also needed a DoEvents for it to actually work.
