Unable to install Xerox WorkCentre 7345

I am trying to install a Xerox WorkCentre On my Windows 2000 Server. I go
through the normal steps to add the printerbut right after if copies the
drivers to the server I get the message "Can not add printer Operation could
not be completed"

This is the only printer I have had this problem with. We have 20+ HP
printers installed without error. I have tried updated drivers, older
drivers, default drivers all with the same result. Any ideas why this is
happening and how can I resolve it?

Check if the Print spooler service is running.

Thanks Meinolf,

I did check that previously and it was running. I actually have resolved
this issue. The vendors drivers were bad. I called Xerox and they gave me new
drivers that resolved this problem.
