Avatars

Is there some minimum number of posts that you need to have before you can change your avatar? When I go to try to change mine, the only option it gives me is "Do not use an avatar". Is this broken, or just not activated for me yet?

By giving a minimum number of post... admin reduce the quantity of data on the server... that way... those who are only posting there for one tip or two cant get an avatar

Thats what I figured. I checked the FAQ, but couldnt find anything. Just wanted to make sure I wasnt going crazy.

Ok, I have over 25 posts now, but Im still not allowed to edit my avatar.

Nevermind... Obviously its working now.

Apparently it just takes a while for the forums to realize that Ive reached the "Freshman" level.
