most affordable PDA able to run dot net ce?

i need to run dot net ce on a palmtop, but i dont have much money for an expensive palmtop. what is the lowest palmtop that will run dot net ce? does it have to run windows ce?

Derek... I think you are a little off the track but not that much

He isnt asking for the Compact Framework (which is needed to run any .NET app on Palm). But at least its say what he need

But he is looking for a Palm and hes looking for the cheapest that will be able to run .NET application.

On my side... I dont own one and Ill probably get one in a few years lol

Im not off track at all. .NET doesnt run on Palm without special development tools and converters. You dont expect Windows XP to run natively on a PowerPC do you?

Does VS.NET install the compact framework automaticly(if not installed) on PDA that you export you project on ?

I mean... I tried the Virtual PDA and it installed it automaticly on it. Am I wrong ?
