I lost this file, don't know how but when rebooting it says it is lost. How
can I get it back? I still have Windows ME.

Re: Lost file 'snlanga.dll'

Looks like something you may have dl'd from the 'langalist' website by Fred
Langa........don't think that is a Windows .dll
(well, almost positive, pretty sure, would bet on it, kinda don't think it
is)
Heirloom, old and you may not want it back

Re: Lost file 'snlanga.dll'

A mystery.....I googled it and only his question came up. I doubt that
it is of any consequence and don't remember seeing it 'lo these many
years' since I used WinME.

Fred Langa was a good shot at it.

Hugs, old sock......and speaking of which, how is the foot??? Trade you
two dental surgeries for USian-style foot/botch surgery, snicker. Ain't
fun, is it. Gasp!! Could we be getting O-L-D???? Ack!!

Re: Lost file 'snlanga.dll'

Got the same thing with the Google, the 'langa' part was pretty obvious.
However, it is of some consequence since the OP's machine is throwing up
error messages regarding it. I would hazard a guess that it was part of a
download from the LangaList site that has gone awry. Further, it will
probably take re-downloading whatever it was (or removing entirely) to stop
the problem. Of course, the OP could peek at the Startup axis and see what
proggy from Langa is trying to start at boot.....disabling the offender in
Startup should 'mask' the issue.
And, I go in Oct. 2nd to get my toe screwed. I'm really looking forward to
that.............NOT!
Heirloom, old and may only be able to count to 19 after
next week.

In all probability the newsletter, H.
Did you know about 'LangaList'?
No reference to 'snlanga.dll' can be found in the search engines, nor in
window's search.

Harry.

Re: Lost file 'snlanga.dll'

Yeah, Harry, I did the searching first and came up short. I was aware of
Fred Langa and his website from many moons ago.......IIRC, I think he had
some sort of speed test, security check or something that I had used (back
in my more gullible days), plus, I may have gleaned some useful info from
the site. Haven't been there in a long time and it is no longer amongst my
'favorites' list.
Heirloom, old and may have to visit again
