"Flush" method?

what it really used for?
i use it all the time,before closing a file when using streamXXXXX.
but i really dont know what its doing...and why i have to use it.

i see...so before the "flush" nothing is written yet? until the flush that copies everything from the buffer to the file?

Yes, additionally when the stream is closed flush is automatically called.
