Changing colour in an image

Hi there

I have an icon displayed on a toolbar representing the selected ink colour. However, I want to change the colour of the pen displayed to reflect the currently chosen colour. How can I do this. I know I could edit an Icon to match each colour, but this seems like over kill. I just want to swap the existing colour with one of my choice.

Can I do this?

What is the icon. Is it a picture box? Cant you just change the background colour?

Did you get this sorted? Appologies for not posting earlier but i just read this post while wasting some time (cant sleep boss is hovering ). I found the easiest way to change a color of an entire picture was to fill the path with a solid color and overlay the semitransparent image. It is crude and changes the whole path but it worked for the gdi textured buttons i created. if you want to do this with just a section of the image you could still create the path for the sections you wish to change color and overlay a semitransparent color (change the A value in ARGB).
