Hi,

I have just started to learn ado.net in VB (feels like Im the last one to leave VB6 :( ) and have a simple question.

I have a few bound textboxes on a form, and a bound datagrid. The controls are all bound to the same dataset. What I want:

When I click on a row in the datagrid, I want the bound textboxes to show the same record, but it doesnt happen. What is the solution?

Thanks in advance,
Kid Icarus.

Hah. I just started moving from vb6 to vb.net a week or so ago. I dunno if it is I have gotten a lot better or vb.net is farrrr better.. but I am loving coding now.

I am loving this website:
http://vbmysql.com/

I think it deserves a sticky somehow.. but hopefully you will find your answer there :)
As I dont know either

Well, nice to know I am not the last one! :-) I have written software since VB 5, and I can agree with you, .NET is relly fun to code in!

But I do not use MySQL, I use MS SQL, maybe the code is identical, but I have already searched this forum, and I dont want to search yet another forum, that is why I asked my question here. But thanks anyway.

Anyone else who can be so kind to help me with my question??
