Changing Format type from Text to Date

Hi All,

I am trying to change a column in a Excel Spreedsheet from Text to Short Date. Is this possible???

If not a column what about a range M3 to M30?

Have found an answer:

objSheet.Range("M3", "M999").NumberFormat = "dd-MMM-yyyy"
[/VB]

My question now is there a better way of doing this????
