I'm using a Logitech trackball, with pretty current drivers. I have
the wheel click set to "Back" as being the most handy setting when
browsing, and it works just fine until I reboot. I rarely reboot,
because the Win 2K SP4 I'm using is quite stable, except for a few
installation programs that insist on rebooting. After rebooting,
however, the wheel click function reverts to some screwball default
value that I can't even find a use for, even though opening the
Control Panel section for the mouse shows it still configured as
"Back". Just opening that and closing it is enough to reset the
setting. Does anyone know how to make that setting stick thru a
reboot?
