MCSD Course Books

Does anybody know if i can get the course books for the MCSD from any source? These books arent usually sold directly, but are solely provided if you take a Microsoft course. If you have one of these books it practically makes the adjoining course unnecessary.

I just wondered if anybody knows another way i can get these books?

As far as Im aware they are only available to the training centres and not for sale to the open market. Also they are not cheap and the training companies do pay quite a premium for them (and for the privilege of being a training centre).

Personally I think a good training course is worth the time and money and should offer more than just the manual contents. If the course was not much more informative or helpful than reading the manual then something has gone wrong somewhere...

Yeah thats what i thought. Just wondered if there was any blackmarket ones or websites that sell them unofficially.

Ill get the self paced training kit then.

I would like to go on more training courses, but unfortunately all the company days have been used up now - well until April.
