A question regarding URL Protocols

Im not sure if this actually goes in this forum, as the part of this subject that Im inquiring about is not REALLY networking... but its the closest forum I could find.

Anyway, Im working with this (http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/networking/pluggable/overview/appendix_a.asp)

Im struggling to understand how my program can accept the information passed to it from the entered URL. This is one part of C# Im still learning, Ive got the basics down pat.

Anyone know the answer? Thanks.

You need to implement the required interfaces and then register your protocol handler with the server to have it receive notification when the appropriate MIME type is sent to the server, e.g. text/html, application/pdf, etc.

This is a vague explanation but I do not know how far along you are with your development process. As long as you implement the appropriate interfaces you are well on your way. VS 2005 will do this automatically for you by creating the appropriate stub methods.
