Problem with banners

Hi Guys,


Its been a while since Ive been in here, but Ive noticed a small bug with the odd banner at the top of the screen. One of the (I think it was Solarus) obscures the search drop-down. I dont know if this happens with them all, it only seems to be the Flash apps.

I use XP Pro SP2 build 2600 with IE 6.0.2900.2180 (SP2) if thats any help.

I too have the same problem. I was just getting ready to post the same thing.

Some browsers render the flash first. Were looking at ways to force those that do to wait.

What about moving the banner to the bottom of the thread - under the Quick Reply box?

That unfortunately is not likely to happen because the top of the page is a strategic place for ad banners.

Were going to be doing redesigns on all sites to have a layout similar to www.webhostingtalk.com

Since this will be a non-issue with a different menu system, I think its something we just need to put up with for now.
