mmm, English is not my local lang, however "flank speed" is used on virtual things like email?
for example is it ok if I say "email sent at flank speed"?
is it also formal or informal?

As far as I know, "flank speed" is a navy term.

I dont think there is anything wrong with applying it to email, though I would consider it to be informal.
