| I read everyday but haven't had time to post much, but I never caught the
| gist of this persons fishing schedule...
I had contemplated whether to even respond to b11_'s post, as I have
previously, largely due to the failure to define the why's for the postings
within the post, and when confronted or requested for more information, if
supplied, the information generally follows vague lines or descriptions
which still require *educated guesses* for the most part.
As b11_ has been posting here and elsewhere [which can be searched for], it
would appear obvious that it would be known that more definitive statements
[preliminary information] lead to definitive answers.
Often these discussions [b11_'s] lead to long dis-similar threads as no one
knows exactly how to answer as the questions are so vague.
For those and other reasons I chose *exhibitions* [a public show} rather
than expositions [interpretation] or expeditions [for some particular
purpose] though each might apply in some form.
For instance to accually answer the question *as placed*, one would need to
list ALL the programs which might apply to each chipset, manufactuer tools
and links, third party programs, and which chips are supported and which
aren't, etc.. Moreover, one would also need to address whether these
programs must be run individually, as part of startup, etc., and whether any
potential conflicts could occur, as not even the chipset is known, and some
programs/applications do have distinct issues which may affect the system,
OS, and/or the motherboard.
Per my original response: without that specific information those whom
might have tried to use some monitoring program on an old machine or a board
which has no support, or the wrong chipset, and been unsuccessful or worse,
there lay the answer. Hence a completion of potential issues without
potential lengthy threads of complaints of those failures.
