Hi all, Im really a novice here.
My Intructor/Professor said that the express version would be too light later on and commented to my deskmate something like his (the deskmates) Professional version was a bit over the top and .. nothing like starting with the best.
Im taking (just started yesterday) a college course called Visual Basic 1. If I want to do any work at home I need to do the course work entirely on my laptop and submit it online. None of that is a problem except I cant find what hes
asking us to use as an entity. Visual Basic 2010 Sandard Edition The Microsoft web site keeps directing me to the studio page and their various iterations.
Im not a stranger to programming (lapsed from cobol in the 90s and wouldnt be allergic to including C++ with VB which Id have to learn from scratchtoo), but Im just above clueless as to what some of the features do in the larger (and more $expensive$)
versions do.
Ive only been a couple pages deep in Google and many pages in Microsoft. Have tried NewEgg and Frys. Amazon and Ebay turn up older versions say 2003 to 2006.
My laptop isnt an amped up workstation, but can handle most anything program wise.
