Undoubtedly, C# and Java are the 2 most popular programming languages on earth at this moment. But the .NET solution has the momentum right now.
With the release of VS2010, .NET Framework 4, I really do not see how the Java or EJB can be on par with Microsoft solution. Cross platform is no longer an issue because the machine is dirt cheap nowadays. Security is no longer an issue because technology
is improving and old bottlenecks have been solved. GUI rendered by Java is just inferior to what produced by WPF...etc.
So, is the only reason people adopting Java technology is because it is free?
