Hello,

I am working remote desktop to a terminal server (2003) on an internal
network. Then I stop the session (I push the X in the upper screen). Later I
want to start the same session again (it is still there in "Terminal
Services Manager" on the server), I logon and get a new session. I use the
same name and password. Is there a way to get the same session again ?
Sometimes it works, but also sometimes not.

Thanks,

Marty

Re: Different session

Which status does your first session have in TS Manager? If the
status is "Disconnected", you should be reconnected. But if the
status is "Active", the server haasn't detected that your session
has been disconnected, and therefore gives you a new. If that's the
problem, configuring KeepAlives should help to make the server
detect the disconnected session.

Re: Different session

Hello Vera,

That must be the problem. I didn't know that key.

Thanks for your help.

Marty
