I have the need to install a TS License Server to issue TS client licenses to
a Windows 2000 TS. I've read in a few articles that the License Server
should be installed on a seperate Windows 2000 Server. Why is it not good
practice to install the License Server on the TS itself? What is the
advantage of installing the License Server on a seperate machine? I'm going
to need to issue TS Licenses for no more that 30 users.

If you are in an Active Directory domain then the Win2k license server
needs to be on a Win2k domain controller. A windows 2003 server is able
to serve out Win2k licenses as well. If you absolutely must put it on
a the terminal server you can use the -nodc switch.
