Hello,

are there any official Microsoft recommendations for antivirus
software under Terminal Server 2003.

Do you have any recommendations.

Thank you!

I've got 18 terminal servers across clients - we use Symantec Corporate
Edition for Workstations and Servers (installed as a client) on all of
them and have not had any compromised yet. Version 10.0 and 10.1 are
completely stable, V 10.2 (installs as 10.1.5 on 2003) has caused us a
lot of problems. Symantec Endpoint Protection is just now being tested,
but indications from laptop users are that it screws with their wireless
network adapters.

Hello,

there is no official recommendations with virus scanners, most people
use: Symantec/McAfee/Etrust without known issues (sometimes maybe :) )
But all these producer have recommendation in TS Environments.
Your decision > COST

Re: Recommendation for terminal server antivirus software

I have many clients that use terminal services. I have tried all solutions
and the one that has not given me any grief has been McAfee Enterprise v8

Hope this helps

The Symantec Corp for Workstations and Servers runs on all of our
servers, which is not like their other products, and has protected them
for years - no problems, no resource hogging, etc... I've tried the
other major players and always come back to Symantec Corp.
