Hello,
I have a VB2008 Application that uses SQL Server 2005 Express, however the list of prerequisites has SP2 in it. SP4 fixed an MSXML bug and works for both 32 bit and 64 bit. I want to add the prereqisite for SP4 but I am starting to believe that it cannot
be done. I have downloaded Bootstrapper Manifest Generator and have failed to create a prerequisite for SQL 2005 SP4 without errors. So it wont work. It is hard to believe that there is not a package available for SP4 out there somewhere that will work
with VB2008 Professional, since it would fix problems with the prerequisite that is shipped with VB 2008 Professional. Is such a package available so that it can be copied into the Packages Folders?
Failing that, can you recommend someone that can use BMG to create a package for SP4.
Thank you,
Dan
