How to convert a IPv6 address to numeric binary form on a XP machine?

Hi,
I need to convert a IPv6 address to numeric binary form (char[16]) and vice verse on a XP machine WITHOUT INSTALLING IPV6 PROTOCOL on that machine.
InetPton and InetNtop are working only on Vista or Windows 7.
Ive tried getaddinfo and WSAStringToAddress
but they are working only if IPv6 is installed on that machine. <br/>
