Hey,<br/> What would be the most efficient way to go about solving my problem using windows? I have a touch screen that sends its data to a microcontroller that in turn sends coordinates through USB to my application. The microcontroller vendor supplied a usb library for doing this, complete with a device driver, and user mode dll for calling the api. I now need to make this touch screen work beyond the application with the OS itself (IE act as a mouse). What is the best way to achieve this? Is writing a driver the only way?
