Hello there. I am very new to Vista and still learning as I navigate around.
I need help with adding a contact to my address book. When I click on
"windows contacts" in the e-mail program the window pops up and there are all
my contacts. I went to help to read about adding a contact and it said open
window and click on "new contact" on the toolbar. I must be blind or stupid
but I do not see "new contact" ANYWHERE on the toolbar. If anyone could help
me i would appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: windows contacts

Linda,

Vista folders can be configured to display different things, and there are
templates for various file types.

It appears that your Contacts folder has been changed somehow. Vista seems
to do this randomly.

In the open Contacts folder, right-click on a blank area of the right pane.
select "Customize this folder"
in the area that says "What kind of folder do you want?", click in the
pull-down box and select "Contacts"
click on OK

You should now see "New Contact" and "New Contact Group"
