<span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black; font-size:8pt Are there any downloadable samples or step by step tutorials of C++ implementations of a performance counter provider using Perflib V2?
<span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black; font-size:8pt Iâve read Providing Counter Data Using Version 2.0 ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa965334(v=VS.85).aspx <span style="color:#0066dd http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa965334(v=VS.85).aspx )
and Performance Counters Schema ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa373092(v=VS.85).aspx <span style="color:#0066dd http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa373092(v=VS.85).aspx ), used CTRPP with the /legacy switch, used lodctr
with my manifest file (as Administrator) and thought I was getting close, but am unable to get my counterset to show up in Performance Monitor. All I see is the GUID for my counterset with the text âCanât load countersâ under the GUID.
This is on my Win 7 development machine.
<span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black; font-size:8pt The manifest is in the same directory as my EXE, the RC file generated by CTRPP was included in my project, there is no MUI file associated with my project and lodctr was run from
the same directory as my EXE.
<span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black; font-size:8pt Iâm sure Iâm missing something simple, but have not yet been able to determine what it is. A working downloadable C++ sample might help me determine what Iâve
missed.

<span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black; font-size:8pt I posted this question in the forum âPerformance Counters for Windowsâ<span style="
