Remote Desktop to Terminal Sevices

I've seen this question asked already, and I'm hoping for some clarification.
We have multiple developers who need access to a server on which we already
have installed several apps (SQL Server, PerformancePoint Server, Office) and
have a few hundred man-hours invested in building out and configuring these
products. We are at a point where we need more than 2 accessing at the same
time. Is there a way to avoid having to reinstall existing apps if we
install TS?

All the developers are currently logging in through RDP as Administrator --
does this change anything?

Re: Remote Desktop to Terminal Sevices

You could try patching the registry keys that you "suspect" were added for
the user who originally installed these apps from HKCU\Software into
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal
Server\Install\Software". I wouldn't advise taking everything as this could
clashes with existing user's HKCU settings if they already have (roaming)
profiles. Just dump the keys to .reg format and then do a search and replace
of the key names in good old notepad.

Re: Remote Desktop to Terminal Sevices

Thanks for the suggestion -- sounds risky, so I'll definitely try it on a
test machine first.
