My needed to patch my parents XP Home computer that only has a dialup
connection (and only connects at 28K). Is there a web location where I can
download all the XP Home updates since last July so I can transport the
updates via a flash drive?

RE: Windows XP Home updates

Hi Larry -

Manually download individual updates from the Catalog and save to be
installed later.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what
you want, Click the “Go To Download Basket” link. Type in or browse to the
location where you want the updates saved to and then Click the “Download
Now” button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD or put on a portable USB drive
etc

How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or from
the Microsoft Update Catalog

Have a look at this post as Shenan Stanley went t a lot of trouble making a
list of the updates etc which may be of assistance to you.
