We are running the RC of Windows Server 2008 -- Longhorn. We want to
use RemoteApp to push out individual applications to users.

Two questions:

1) Currently, we have to be running the RC of SP1 for Vista or connect
from a Longhorn server. Is it always going to be this way, or is the
RDP 6.1 client going to come down XP and earlier versions?

2) How do we control which users see what applications? Currently, all
I can find is the option to disable or enable a specific application
as a whole. I want User A to see Application B, but not Application C.
Where do I set these policies?

Re: Questions about Terminal Services 2008

1) Yes, there will be an RDP 6.x client for Windows XP. If you have access
to MS Connect and the Longhorn Server Beta Program you can download the beta
version of this RDP client already.

2) RemoteApp alone will not provide a filtering of access permissions to
published applications out of the box. This requires additional components,
such as TS Gateway and Network Access Policies.
