I'm embarrassed to ask this, but I can't find a way to remove a shadowed
cursor set in Vista Home Premium. The cursor is driving me crazy.

I also wonder how the cursor changed form and added the shadows. It happened
while I was on the Internet today, leading me to wonder if that patch for
the ANI vulnerability might not be 100% effective. That's probably paranoia,
but I would appreciate information on where to go to restore the normal
cursors.

Control Panel > (Classic View) > Mouse. On the Pointers tab, there is a
check box to "Enable pointer shadow". By default, it's turned on.

Re: Vista cursors

How many times did I overlook that box?

Thanks.
