Im using Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. I have the latest Service Packs on both.
The problem Im having is that I am unable to find the template to create an SQL Server Project with Visual C++. I can create a SQL Server Project with both C# and Visual Basic (the templates are there for both of them). Is the template not implemented for VS 2008 as it was for VS 2005?
Switching to C# is out of the question as all of our scientific code is currently in c++ and that is how it will remain, I am sure.
I have currently been using the work-around of creating c++ dlls and loading them into SQL Server, but I would like to use the VS Development Environment as that would seem more natural and make debugging possible.
Did I simlpy miss something in the install?
Please Help.
