I resently installed Vista 64Bit O.S. The install went smothly and every
thing works well. Then I recived three separat updates. Two went off with out
a hitch. The third one installed all but the update for the Windows Media
Format 11 SDK
( KB9293990). After about seven attempts by the auto updater I tracked the
update down through the knowledge base and manualy downloaded and installed
it on to my computer. This manual update went of without a hitch. The one
thing I noticed when installing the update was differance in the lenth of the
names for the update, it was much shorter than the auto updater called out.
If anyone else has this problem they may have to resort to a manual downloal
of some updates as well.
