Partial backup fails after update

Problem occurred after an automatic update of some 5-6 updates and a computer
re-start. When attempting to do my routine incremental Monday morning backup,
I am told that backup is not set up and my only option is a full backup,
instead of an incremental. What went wrong?

Updates installed: KB942670; KB933729; KB939653; KB941202; KB905866 and
KB941651.

Windows version? Backup application you're using? Does uninstalling one or
more of the updates resolve the problem?

Re: Partial backup fails after update

Using MS Backup Tool on Windows Vista 6.0 Ver. 6000. No, I did not undo
updates, as these are updates recommended by MS and are affecting only MS
software best I can tell. Backup Tool shows that no automatic backup is
configured, but it was before the updates.

Re: Partial backup fails after update

Well, the first step to take in seeing if you can resolve the problem is to
uninstall all the updates you just installed and seeing if the behavior
persists.
