<p style=" Hi,
<p style=" My application is a very big windows app built up in visual studio 2008, vb.net (X86 mode). The machine have windows 7 64 bit OS.
<span style="color:#313c46; font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:13px; line-height:16px; background-color:#fafafa The application was originally on vb6 and it is using lots of COM components. It was converted into vb.net.

<span style="color:#313c46; font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:13px; line-height:16px; background-color:#fafafa
<p style=" The application is using Oracle as database (seperate server m/c).
<span style="color:#313c46; font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:13px; line-height:16px; background-color:#fafafa
<p style=" The application is working fine when I use <strong style=" oracle client 10g 32 bit version .
<p style=" When I uninstall <strong style=" oracle client 10g 32 bit and install the <strong style=" oracle client 10g 64 bit , the application starts throwing the following error.
<p style=" <em style=" Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation. Provider is unable to function until these
components are installed.[/i]
<p style=" I am using the following connection string (microsoft ole db provider for oracle).
<p style=" <em style=" StrConn = "Provider=MSDAORA.1; Data Source=ABC;User Id=XYZ;Password=XYZ123;"[/i]
<p style=" Is there any MS ole db provider for oracle 64 bit version available? Or the only way is to go back to 32 bit Oracle client?
<span style="color:#313c46; font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:13px; line-height:16px; background-color:#fafafa Any help would be appreciated.
