There are certain circumstances which I don't yet know how to
duplicate, that reult in the mini-window for the task switcher
staying on screen, and staying on top. Task switching then still
works, but the mini window will not go away.
The only clean workaround is to reboot.

How can I make the mini window go away? Or kill the mini window
process?

My killfile has been adjusted so that Mr. Pegasus (MVP) is no
longer in my universe. He multiposts, with full quoting, others'
alleged multiposting, and Mr Pegasus seems to derive pleasure
only from criticizing others.

I already stated that it was my intention to post this to
another group and (Oh my gosh) made a mistake.

Please have another look at http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm
to see the difference between multi-posting and crossposting.

The purpose of flagging your post as "Multipost" is to
notify others that they might be wasting their time when
replying to it. I'm sorry that you cannot see this point
and accept your mistake a little more graceously. And
you're not entirely honest, signing your posts as "A win2k
user" when your question really appears to relate to WinXP.
