Did you install and try it?
Removing operating systems is usually a two step process:
1- You dislodge the MBR boot loader code that calls the operating
system loader.
2- You format or remove the partition onto which the operating system
is installed.
If you decide to install a Windows operating system the Windows setup
program will do the above for you. Please be aware that if you format
or delete the partition you will lose all the files on the partition.
If you just want to wipe everything on the disk and install Windows just
boot with your Windows CD and follow the on screen instructions. If you
already have an existing Windows installation that you want to keep you
have to do steps 1 & 2 manually, if that is your case please post again
and someone will tell you how to proceed.
