Folks,
I have one user who is suddenly having trouble printing via TS. It had been
working fine until last week. I can't find anything in the logs indicating a
problem, but here's what I have found so far.
When I connnect to our TS via RDP, and I look at my printers and faxes
group, I see my desktop printer show up as "Dell Laser Printer 1720dn (on
computername in session x). My user who is having trouble printing is not
seeing the "on computername in session x). When I look at the print queue
from the server to the laser printer, it shows a document error and the port
is LPT1. I think that's OK on the server, but when I called her, it was
pointing to LPT1 as well. I had her look for a TS00x port with her PC name in
the Description field, and she can select one of them (there are 4-5), but it
still doesn't print.
When I look at it logged in from my PC and I look at the ports, under the
description field, I see the printer name "Dell Laser Printer 1720dn" next to
the TS port I am using. My user is not seeing this either.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Thanks,
Mike
