Re: (Nero 8) Side x side errors in event viewer in Vista 64

No comments since I went back to Nero 7 very quickly.
I did observe, like you, that there seemed to be no functionality issues in
spite of the event viewer SxS errors.
Regarding to the **registry errors** I found with the codecs, my best guess
so far is that Nero 8 created those extra entries that point to C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Nero\DSFilter
Nero 7 stores them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter
Note that both paths are quite different.
So I guess I ended up with duplicate entries in the registry for each
filter, one from Nero 8 pointing to nowhere, and another one from Nero 7
pointing to the right file.
I have 43 Ne*.ax files in that situation.
