capture command line output?

I did a create process in my application automatically run a tool on a bunch of files. This application runs on the command prompt. This tool outputs a lot of results directly to the console. I need to save off those results to a file for further analysis. Does anybody know how to pipe the output into a text file?<br/><br/>Thanks!
