HI,

I don't seem to be able to printer remotely to a network printer in my site
office. The driver is loaded onto my laptop and into the TS at head office
using Server Properties -> drivers. When I'm in the site office I can print
directly from my laptop to the network printer. However when I connect to
the TS I don't see the redirected printer. I have no errors in the log and
it doesn't work when I log onto the TS as administrator. Have checked the
options in the Remote Destop Connector and it definately has local printers
ticked.

I loaded the same driver at both pla ces and used all the default settings
so it should all be the same. Laptop is running Windows XP Pro and TS is
Windows Server 2003 with SP1 loaded.

Any help appreciated.

Re: Remote Printer not appearing

Hi Mick,

Please use the version of the Remote Desktop Client
that came with your 2003 server. The install file for
it is located on your server's hard drive here:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\clients\tsclient\win32\msrdpcli.msi

After the install is complete on your laptop the shortcut
will be located under Start-->Programs. Use this new
shortcut instead of the one under Accessories-->Communications.

Thanks.
