Cloud computing is delivering real world results. In December 2011, Computer Sciences Corporation released the CSC Cloud Usage Index, based on an 18-question survey of 3645 cloud computing users in eight countries. 93 percent of all organizations reported IT performance improvements due to implementing cloud computing and 82 percent reported at least moderate cost reductions. 80 percent said they had seen the performance gains within six months of adoption.
