A client sent me this email today:

For some reason when I use my computer at a location other than home
(using DSL), Internet Explorer will not connect to any website whereas
Firefox will. I get a message in IE that says:

Access Denied (policy_denied)

Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL.

For assistance, contact your network support team

Anybody have any suggestions on what it could possibly be?

TIA,

P.s. if there is two of these posts sorry....

Re: Internet Explorer 7 Error

Josh,

IE has it's own policy settings which are identical to the IEAK settings

You can also lower the security setting or remove the address out of the zone (restricted
sites)
