Displaying Tabs by Arrows

<p align=left><font face=Arial size=2>By cleaning my keybord whilst in c++ editor (visual studio 2005), i randomly hit some keys. Now the editor displays annoying little blue arrows for tabs. How do I get rid of these arrows. There must be a shortcut, but i dont get it. Even resetting to installation defaults does not work.</font>
