Windows Vista unable to run software

i installed turboc++ on my lenovo laptop,which runs on vista as the os.
the problem is
1.full screen mode is not supported.
2.none of the graphics commands are recognised by the compiler.
But the same thing works perfectly on my pc .Which is powered by windows
xp.

Have you checked with the programs manufacturer if it is compatible with Vista

1. Full screen is not supported when running a WDDM video driver. If you
have an XDDM video driver, full screen mode will work. (Not suggesting
that's the way to go... just saying that's the only way to get full screen
mode working -natively- in Vista.)

2. Sorry, have not input on that point...
